Description
The Pagan Wheel of the Year depicts the 8 seasonal celebrations of the Pagan calendar. Reaching far back into history, these festivals touch the roots of many of us. Beginning on the winter solstice and ending on the last harvest (Halloween), the celebrations are; Yule (December21), Imbolc (Feb1), Ostara (spring equinox), Beltane (May1), Litha (summer solstice), Lammas or Lughnasadh (August1), Mabon (autumn equinox) and Samhain (October 31). This plaque is made of sturdy resin and is handpainted in earth tones of terra cotta and olive green, no two plaques are the same. The backside has 8 hangers so the plaque can be arranged to reflect the seasons! 11.5″ in diameter.
